Qatar Meat Production receives BRC Certificate.
Qatar Meat Production Company (QMPC), the latest and most sophisticated Meat Processing facility operating with a state-of-the-art-technology in the State of Qatar, has been awarded Certificate from BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.
This certification was issued to QMPC after it met the criteria set out by BRC Global Standard for Food Safety during the audit on January 2020.
It shows QMPC’s effort in contributing to Qatar’s self-sufficiency goals its mission to process and package fresh and frozen chicken and meat products that are in line with international quality standards and cater to local tastes.
The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety began in the United Kingdom to help the food industry meet legislative requirements of the EU General Product Safety Directive and the UK Food Safety Act. Since that time, the Standard has received global recognition with over 20,000 certified sites worldwide. The Standard is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognized certification programme.
